Pilates has emerged as one of the most popular forms of exercise worldwide. In the UK, this industry is worth over £875.4 million. Nowadays, we have access to Pilates studios, DVDs, books, and comfortable Pilates socks that keep your feet warm during training sessions.
Although we’re experiencing some unusually warm weather for the time of year, autumn has arrived and alongwith it the opportunity to enjoy exercising in some beautiful surroundings.
The weather finally appears to be picking up, although we’re forecast some snow over the weekend up here in North Yorkshire!
Just a quick post to let you know that we’ve got our full range back in stock. We really couldn’t believe how busy we were through the end of February and beginning of March - you bought everything we had!
Well, this has taken us by surprise. We’ve been so busy over the past couple of weeks that we underestimated quite how many orders we would receive and as a result we’re running a little low on stock at the moment.
Starting today we’ve decided to run what we’re calling ‘First Class Fridays’. The idea is simple: any order placed on a Friday will be sent out by Royal Mail First Class post. This way you stand a chance of receiving your socks in time for your weekend workouts.
Two months into our new venture and we have to say how pleased we are with the reception pilatessocks.co.uk has had. We’ve been posting out orders to all parts of the country. Our range also seems to be hitting the spot too, with a good mixture of orders spanning each style and every colour too!
Since launching our store in January we’ve been delighted to receive orders from around the country. Many of the orders have been for single pairs of socks, but almost an equal number have been for multiple pairs.
It’s not a popular statement, and not what the advertisers of health foods and diet programmes would have us believe, but physical fitness cannot be purchased! And it definitely can’t be wished into existance.
This Pilates exercise is regularly used in Pilates classes as a gentle warm-up for the spine and abs. It helps coordinate breathing and movement and works the lower body, legs and hips.
